We are looking for senior developer/architect interested in building industrial solutions. Whether you are an experienced professional who can lead the technical development of large-scale projects, or a developer with years of work experience, we are interested in you!

Our main technology stack includes .NET, C#, Node.js, NestJS and TypeScript (we are technology agnostic, so let us know your technology stack). We work with Azure and AWS cloud platforms, hybrid cloud environments, and on-premises solutions. We select the best technologies by considering the entire solution life cycle.

Fluency in both written and spoken Finnish and English is required.

How to forge success in this role

We are seeking a person who thrives in a collaborative team environment and possesses strong teamwork and communication skills. With a consultancy mindset, you approach client challenges with a business-oriented perspective, working closely with clients to understand and solve their problems effectively. As a young firm, you like to attend in developing Forge’s ways of working as well and you work in a self-driven way.

Technically, we expect you to have strong knowledge of most of our main technologies and databases, such as MS SQL, PostgreSQL, and/or MongoDB.

We also value the background with:

• Building infrastructure for cutting edge AI solutions (GenAI, MCP, Machine learning models)
• Experience with Kubernetes, Python, event-driven architectures and messaging systems like RabbitMQ
• Experience with industrial data exchange standards, such as OPC UA or similar
• Frontend development experience

Optimally, you are a developer with a DevOps mindset, i.e. you understand the entire software development process. More than anything, we value learning-oriented mindset and willingness to develop your own skills. It is a benefit if you are interested in data engineering or analytics in addition to development. Also having knowledge from industrial/logistic domains is obviously a good thing.
