Data Scientist

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Data Scientist to join our team and contribute to our mission of driving digital transformation in the industrial sector. As a Data Scientist at Forge Digital, you will play a pivotal role in extracting valuable insights from data and using those insights to make informed decisions that drive business growth.

We improve our clients' performance by helping them to:

• Understand what data is relevant for their business and how it can be used to bring value or growth.
• Build productionized machine learning or mathematical models to extract insight from data and make the insight actionable.
• Improve their decision making by helping them take utilize the data across the organization both on operational and strategic level

We are technology agnostic, and our goal is to help our customers to succeed. We appreciate the ability to learn new things and willingness to keep focus on the business behind the cool technologies used. You should have good communication skills and the ability to explain technical and modelling related concepts and results to stakeholders having different backgrounds.

Following list gives an impression of the skills and technologies in the scope of this crucial role:

• Ability to extract value by translating complex business problems to the language of mathematics or statistics and solving those by using appropriate methods
• Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis and modeling
• Experience in building production grade models utilizing machine learning or mathematical optimization.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms and their services, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure
• Experience in working with databases and SQL and familiarity with data processing technologies such as Apache Spark.
• Experience with some data reporting and visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
